I joined A Canadian delegation, led by Hon. Minister Mary Ng, and attended a trade mission in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, organized by the Ministry of Global Affairs Canada. The delegation was warmly welcomed with a series of receptions and events that highlighted the strong ties between Canada and Vietnam. The first day kicked off with productive meetings and a grand evening reception hosted by High Commissioner Annie Dubey at her residence. The event featured a fabulous party that set the tone for the mission.

Another evening, the delegation of 350 people was treated to a red carpet reception and dinner. The evening was further enhanced by a captivating opera show, with Minister Mary Ng’s presence adding a special touch to the festivities.

In another highlight of the trip, the Canadian delegation attended a spectacular reception at a historic palatial garden. Attendees included the Trade Minister of South Korea, the High Commissioner of Canada to South Korea, and other VIPs. The evening featured a live performance by a renowned opera singer, with guests enjoying exquisite wine, food, and stunning views of the garden, making it an unforgettable experience.
